Steve grew up on a ranch in Northern California near Shasta Mountain. There, he and his father planted over 3,000 apple trees and raised livestock. It was also there that Steve learned a strong work ethic, the value of a solid handshake, a confident look in the eye and that your words mean something.
After high school, Steve joined the United States Naval Submarine Service where he proudly served his country with honor and distinction for eight years. Steve’s never fail attitude and resourceful ingenuity placed him in leadership of a unique task group in special operations with Submarine Group Nine.
While serving in the Navy, Steve achieved great success on his own time in business, money management and his ventures in creative real estate. Steve attributes his success to the application of specific financial growth principles through which he achieved his own financial independence at age 25 and millionaire status by age 27.
Steve ended his Naval Career as the Cold War came to an end claiming that a warrior without a war is a pretty useless thing. Steve sought to apply his soldier spirit to the war on poverty in the country he served to protect by teaching and motivating others to make better personal and financial decisions for themselves.
In 1994, Steve expanded his real estate interests to include the mortgage and banking industries. Since then his experience, research and devotion to study has made him an expert in the field of mortgage lending and the use of financial tools for personal economic growth.
Steve’s accomplishments include the inception and implementation of various new residential, commercial and construction loan programs used by both mortgage banks and portfolio lenders across the country. More recently, Steve has led a new charge that is raising the standards in the mortgage banking, real estate, and financial planning industries on a national scale.
His most recent undertaking is his answer to the call from our government imploring the public to, “take responsibility for your own financial future. The government won’t be able to help as you get older”, they say. He calls this answer, “Alternative Economics™”.
Steve is the Founder and president of the National Strategic Investment Corporation and now a nationally published, motivational speaker and author on subjects of business, leadership, personal and financial development. He is most well known for his life changing talk called, “Breaking the Law of Social and Financial Heredity” which has swept the nation, having now been presented to over 1,000,000 people.
Steve has helped thousands of people take personal control of their own lives and financial future and has made that his definite major purpose and life mission.
However, if you ask Steve today he will tell you that his greatest contribution to this world are his four wonderful children, Daniel, David, Hannah and Hailey.
